Johns Manville Micromat® is a flexible, resilient, blanket-type fiberglass insulation faced on one side with a smooth, durable, non-woven glass mat designed for HVAC equipment applications. Micromat provides superior thermal and acoustical performance. In addition, because of its resiliency and flexibility, Micromat liners resist settling, breakdown and sagging from vibration and damage from impact. It is available in a variety of thicknesses and densities and is also suited for other equipment applications that require effective thermal and acoustical control, low air friction and excellent damage resistance.

The Micromate provides 10 to 15 days of uninterrupted monitoring with its internal battery. The battery life can easily be extended by connecting a solar panel or an external battery.

Expansive memory for long term monitoring
The Micromate has an internal, non-volatile memory of 15 MB that can store up to 1000 events. An optional upgrade increases the memory to 60 MB for a storage capacity of over 4000 events.
Proven regulatory compliance designed to meet industry standards
Seamlessly record vibration and sound/noise or air overpressure with one monitoring unit. The Micromate has four available channels: three for a triaxial geophone and one for an air over pressure or sound level microphone. Designed to meet industry standards like the International Society of Explosive Engineers (ISEE, 2011), DIN 45669-1, Swedish blasting (SS4604866) and Swedish pile driving (SS025211), you can be sure to get accurate readings every time!
An optional auxiliary port and a built-in USB port expand your monitoring capabilities

The Micromate is built to last. The main unit comes with a fully sealed top panel. The non-corrosive fully sealed industrial grade connectors are labeled and color coded for easy identification and installation. Custom molded housings for the base unit are made of superior impact polycarbonate. An optional protective 'boot' provides the highest level of durability and ruggedness available in Instantel's product line. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 55°C (-40°F to 131°F). A complete remote monitoring solution with support for Instantel's Auto Call Home™, THOR™ and Vision™ programs
Recorded events can be retrieved with a USB memory stick (no PC required) or using a modem and Instantel's proprietary Auto Call Home feature.
